Test lights, faucets, the heater, air conditioning, major appliances (that are to be included with the home) - even flush the toilets to ensure everything is working as it should. The best way to approach this is do a room by room check working from the top of the house down. Be systematic. Remember in each room to check lights, water, and outlets. Most Halifax homes don't have air conditioning but if the home has it, check it.
